CNOOC Announces Director Change

Chinese national oil company CNOOC Limited said it has appointed Wang Dongjin to replace Wu Guangqi who has retired as a Non-executive Director and a member of the Remuneration Committee effective April 27.

PetroChina Mulls Aramco Listing

PetroChina will consider taking part in national oil giant Saudi Aramco's initial public offering based on market conditions, it said on Thursday, the second Chinese oil major to discuss becoming an investor this week. "Saudi Aramco has raised this plan to PetroChina," president and vice-chairman Wang Dongjin said on Thursday at a briefing following the announcement of China's largest oil and gas producer's 2016 results.

Gazprom, CNPC discuss gas supplies to China

Gazprom and CNPC held meeting of Joint Coordinating Committee to discuss the progress of the project for natural gas supplies from Russia to China via the eastern route. This was a regular meeting of the Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) of Gazprom and CNPC that took place in Beijing. The meeting was moderated by JCC co-chairmen Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Wang Dongjin, Vice President of CNPC. Agreement on Cross-border Section of Power of Siberia being Finalized

At a meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Wang Dongjin, Vice President of CNPC the two sides looked at the status of the project for Russian gas supply to China via the eastern route. They gave particular attention to the preparation of an Agreement on engineering and constructing a cross-border section of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline including its submerged crossing under the Amur River. A Technical Agreement was signed today by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Wang Dongjin, Vice President of CNPC in the House of the Russian Government in Moscow. It is a supplement to the Purchase and Sale Agreement on natural gas supplies via the eastern route. Power of Siberia construction launched
