Thanksgiving Day, which falls on Thursday November 28, will impact the schedule for the release of major energy data during the week of Nov. 24. The schedule below shows the weekly release of the U.S. Petroleum, Oil and Natural Gas Supply and Inventory. As per usual, API will release its weekly report on petroleum stocks on Tuesday, November 26 at 4:30 pm EST (2130 GMT).

U.S. utility Sempra Energy said on Thursday it plans to sell some of its natural gas storage and renewable energy assets and expects to record a charge between $1.47 billion and $1.55 billion during the second quarter. Georgia to Build Natural Gas Storage, Coal-fired Power Plant
Georgia plans to build its first underground natural gas storage facility and construct a coal-fired power plant as part of moves to develop its energy sector. Georgia's state Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) has obtained the right to build the gas storage facility on a capped oil field in the capital Tbilisi and has finished the feasibility study, GOGC's general director told Reuters.
US Natural Gas Storage Hits All-time High
The volume of natural gas in storage in the United States hit a record high last week, despite one of the smallest builds in history during this year's injection season, as production declines for the first time in over a decade. The U.S. Energy Information Administration on Thursday said stockpiles hit 4.017 trillion cubic feet during the week ended Nov. 4, topping the previous all-time high of 4.009 tcf set during the week ended Nov. 20, 2015.
SoCalGas Completes Aliso Canyon Well Tests
Southern California Gas said Wednesday it completed safety review tests at all wells at the Aliso Canyon natural gas storage facility in the Los Angeles area, which shut in October 2015 following a massive methane leak.
