Holiday schedule for US Energy Data

Some major energy data will be delayed due to the federal holidays of Christmas and New Year's Day on December 25 and January 1, 2025.

The schedule below shows the U.S. Petroleum, Oil and Natural Gas Supply and Inventory for these weeks.

WEEK OF DEC. 22,

AMERICAN PETROLEUM INDSTITUTE – OIL

As per usual, API will release its weekly report on petroleum stocks on Tuesday, December 24 at 4:30 pm EST (2130 GMT).

Natural Gas - ENERGY ADMINISTRATION

The EIA will delay its weekly report on natural gas inventories until Friday, December 27 at 10:10 a.m. (EST) (1530 GMT). The report would normally be released on Thursday at this time.

OIL ENERGY ADMINISTRATION

The EIA will delay its weekly report on crude oil, gasoline, and distillate stocks until Friday, December 27 at 1 pm EST (1800 GMT). Reports are usually released every Wednesday at 10:30 am EST (1530 GMT).

WEEK OF 29 DEC.

AMERICAN PETROLEUM INDSTITUTE – OIL

API's weekly report on petroleum stocks will be released, as per usual, on Tuesday December 31 at 4:30 pm EST (2130 GMT).

OIL - ENERGY ADMINISTRATION

The EIA will delay its weekly report on crude oil, gasoline, and distillates until Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 11 am EST (1600 GMT).

Natural Gas - ENERGY ADMINISTRATION

The EIA will delay its weekly report on natural gas stockpiles until Friday, January 3 at 10:10 a.m. (EST) (1530 GMT).

NOTES:

API delays its Weekly Statistical Bulletin if a federal holiday occurs on a Tuesday or Monday. The schedule is not affected by holidays later in the week. The schedule can be found at

Released Thursday at 1030 ET for Monday or Friday holidays

Released on Friday, 1030 ET for Tuesday or Wednesday holidays

Released Wednesday, 1200 ET.
