First ORC Operation on Maersk Vessel

The newly developed waste heat recovery system "Hydrocurrent Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) Module 125EJW" 1 by MHI Marine Machinery & Engine Co., Ltd. (President: Kazuo Soma, Head Office: Nagasaki) has begun operation on the vessel named Arnold Maersk belonging to Maersk Line. MHPS to Boost AQCS Business

Nuverra Turns to Lazard for Debt Restructuring

Nuverra Environmental Solutions Inc , a U.S. provider of environmental services to the energy sector, has been working with investment bank Lazard Ltd on restructuring its debt, according to people familiar with the matter. Nuverra has been looking at several financial restructuring options, including a potential debt exchange, the people said this week, asking not to be identified because the deliberations are confidential. Nuverra and Lazard declined to comment.

Wärtsilä' Inert Gas Solution for LNG Carriers

Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) in South Korea has contracted Wärtsilä to supply combined inert gas generators and gas combustion units for 17 new LNG Carrier vessels under construction at the company's yards. The vessels are being built for leading operators in Singapore, Greece, South Korea, Cyprus and Canada. These significant contracts with Wärtsilä were signed in June and September.

MHI, Hyflux JV to Build Waste-to-energy Plant in Tuas
