Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft expects the country's oil exports to drop by around 5 million tonnes (100,000 barrels per day) this year because of robust domestic demand, the Interfax news agency reported on Monday.

Transneft said it also expected an additional 9 million tonnes of oil to flow through its pipeline system in the second half of the year, in comparison to the first six months of 2018.
