Rosneft Cuts Oil Output

Russia's largest oil producer Rosneft said on Tuesday its oil production had declined due to a decision by oil pipeline monopoly Transneft to reduce intake of oil due to a contaminated oil issue.It said Transneft had imposed a "significant" cap on oil intake from Rosneft's Yuganskneftegaz subsidiary.(Reporting by Vladimir Soldatkin and Olesya Astakhova; editing by David Evans)

Russia's Transneft Reports 19% Drop

An oil leak and resulting fire on an oil pipeline in Russia's Saratov region may affect the loading schedule for Russian crude exports, Igor Dyomin, a spokesman for oil pipeline monopoly Transneft, told reporters.   Dyomin said that oil flows through the pipeline could resume in approximately 3-4 days. Transneft H1 Net Profit Down 15%

Russia Resumes Liftings from Novorossiisk

Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft said it had resumed oil loadings from the Black Sea port of Novorossiisk on Friday morning after a storm. Russia to Cut Oil Exports Outside FSU by 380,000 T in Q1

Russia will cut oil exports to foreign markets outside the former Soviet Union (FSU) by 380,000 tonnes in the first quarter of 2017 from the fourth quarter of 2016, oil pipeline monopoly Transneft said on Tuesday. However, overall supply, which includes non-Russian oil transit from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan as well as deliveries to Belarus, will increase by 200,000 barrels per day, as reported last week.

Belarus says Russia Made Oil Threat

Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday a Russian move to create border zones near his country's frontier looked like a political attack and that Moscow had threatened to halve oil supplies to Minsk. Speaking at a marathon news conference which lasted over seven hours, Lukashenko said he sensed Russia was afraid his country, a long-time ally, would move too far out of Moscow's orbit. "Russia has become wary that Belarus could turn to the West," said Lukashenko.

Transneft 2016 Net Profit Up 62%

Net income of Russia's oil pipeline monopoly Transneft has increased by 62 percent to 232.9 billion roubles ($4.07 billion) in 2016, the company said on Tuesday, as its costs has decreased and revenues rose.   Its revenues were up to 848.1 billion roubles from 815.7 billion roubles in 2015. Russia to Cut Oil Exports from Primorsk

Russia will reduce Urals oil exports from the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk by around 12 percent to 44 million tonnes (884,000 barrels per day) this year due to using some of the pipeline capacity for shipments of diesel, oil pipeline monopoly Transneft said on Tuesday. Exports of Urals from the outlet in June would be cut to less than 3 million tonnes comparing to 4.5 million tonnes planned for April, the documents on export pipeline routes capacity, published on Transneft's website, showed.

Transneft Says Belarus Q2 Oil Supply Schedule Signed

Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft said on Thursday that a schedule for additional oil supplies to Belarus for the second quarter had been signed.   According to the schedule, Russia will supply 6 million tonnes of oil to Belarus in the second quarter and 7 million tonnes in each of third and fourth quarters.   The schedule was signed off after Belarus agreed to pay its debt for natural gas purchases in full. Russian State Fund CEO May Join Transneft Board

The government has nominated Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), to the board of state-controlled oil pipeline monopoly Transneft , a government source told Reuters on Friday. "For the first time a direct representative of investors in the preferred shares will become a member of Transneft board," the source said, adding the move will facilitate efforts to raise Transneft dividends. Transneft and RDIF declined comments.

Former Rosneft Exec Kalanda joins Russia's Transneft

A former senior manager at Russia's biggest oil producer Rosneft, Larisa Kalanda, has joined state oil pipeline monopoly Transneft as vice-president, Transneft said on Wednesday. Kalanda, born in 1964, will oversee legal matters at Transneft and will be in charge of government relations, Transneft said in a statement. Kalanda, who was seen as a close ally of Rosneft Chief Executive Igor Sechin, has worked for around a decade at Rosneft, leaving the post of Rosneft vice-president in May.

Transneft CEO Dismisses Rumours of Merger with Rosneft

The head of Russia's oil pipeline monopoly Transneft Nikolai Tokarev dismissed on Thursday talk of a possible merger with country's largest oil producer Rosneft.   "It is obvious that the issue is made up.
