German utility E.ON said on Thursday its nuclear reactor at Grohnde will remain offline after its annual maintenance outage for at least another two weeks to allow for some more inspections of a pump.
The 1,430 megawatts (MW) plant in northern Germany went offline on April 2 and should have been reopened around April 20 initially, but transparency platforms in recent days kept adding downtime projections.
Wholesale power traders factor in nuclear output in supply calculations.
