Gazprom, CNPC discuss gas supplies to China
Gazprom and CNPC held meeting of Joint Coordinating Committee to discuss the progress of the project for natural gas supplies from Russia to China via the eastern route. This was a regular meeting of the Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) of Gazprom and CNPC that took place in Beijing. The meeting was moderated by JCC co-chairmen Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Wang Dongjin, Vice President of CNPC.
Gazprom Actively Pursuing East Russian Projects
During the Press Conference held today held at the Company's headquarters prior to the annual General Shareholders Meeting the press was informed that Gazprom is actively implementing large-scale projects in eastern Russia. It was stated that the Company is committed to expanding its resource base. With geological exploration at the Chayandinskoye field – the basis for the Yakutia gas production center – nearly over, the field is ready for development.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairmen of the Company's Management Committee Vitaly Markelov and Andrey Kruglov, the Management Committee Members Oleg Aksyutin, Vyacheslav Mikhalenko, and Vsevolod Cherepanov, as well as the top managers of the Pipe Producers Association, United Metallurgical Company (OMK), TMK, Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe), Severstal, and other companies.
Gazprom, NIGC to Boost Energy Cooperation
Teheran hosted today the first meeting of the Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) of Gazprom and National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) to considered a wide range of possible cooperation areas, including transactions with gas, development of the UGS system in Iran, equipment supplies and installation, oil & gas equipment servicing and repairs, development and upgrade of Iran's gas transmission system as well as gas use as a vehicle fuel.

Gazprom Trims 2015 Gas Production Plan Again
Russia's top natural gas producer Gazprom has cut its 2015 production plan to 450 billion cubic metres (bcm) after warmer weather hit demand, company officials said on Tuesday, the second such downward revision in a week. The forecast is still higher than the 444.4 bcm of gas the company produced last year, an all-time low. Last Thursday, Gazprom had revised its production plan for 2015 to 471 bcm.

Gazprom Sets Up New Department
Gazprom set up a new department to be headed by Pavel Krylov. The department will be in charge of implementing the Gazprom corporate unified technical policy in search, creation and introduction of state-of-the-art solutions, equipment and materials acknowledged worldwide, including substitutes of their non-domestic counterparts, with a view to secure the Company’s technological independence.
Major Agreement Signed At 21st World Petroleum Congress
At the 21st World Petroleum Congress Rosneft, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Gazprom, NOVATEK, Gazprombank, Sovkomflot, United Shipbuilding Corporation signed a Joint Venture Agreement in relation to the implementation of vessel, drilling rig and marine equipment construction and design projects on the 16th of June.
