TWMA’s Service Bags £500,000 Contracts
TWMA, a global leader in the provision of integrated drilling waste management and environmental services, has been awarded new contracts with a combined value of £500,000 for EfficientC skip and ship and onshore processing services. One of the projects is for Zennor Pathway Limited (Zennor) and commenced in April 2016 with a duration of 90 days. This contract includes skip and ship services on the SEDCO 704 drilling rig in the North Sea. Another project for LR Senergy on the Deep Sea Stavanger vessel, started in April 2016 with a duration of 70 days.
Play Fairway Mapping is Key in the North Sea
Regional play fairway mapping is the key to locating remaining prospectivity in the prolific North Sea hydrocarbon province, according to the new Ternan play evaluation report released by global energy services company LR Senergy. The Ternan 2015 Integrated North Sea Report is the latest in a series of regional play fairway evaluations that analyze petroleum systems and provide exploration specialists with a unique insight into the regional risk factors that impact subsurface studies. New Distance Learning Program for MSc in Petrophysics
Global energy services company LR Senergy and the University of Aberdeen have developed a distance learning program that builds upon a collaborative initiative to attract much-needed petrophysicists into the energy industry from around the world. The organizations joined forces to launch the MSc Petrophysics and Formation Evaluation program, which was initially designed as a modular initiative to allow a flexible approach for people wishing to combine studies with their work commitments on a part-time basis. Senergy’s Survey & GeoEngineering (Senergy S&G) group has been awarded a major contract to support GDF SUEZ E&P UK Ltd (GDF SUEZ) in the forthcoming offshore construction phases of its major Cygnus gas project. Senergy S&G has provided survey project management and geosciences engineering consultancy services on the project, located in the southern North Sea (Blocks 44/11 and 44/12 – license number P1055), since 2007 including management of 15 rig and platform site and pipeline route surveys and geotechnical investigations.
