The three main members of the Russian-led Eurasian Economic Union face a big economic challenge from the fall in global oil prices, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said on Friday. Gazprom Secures Gas Supplies to South Kyrgyzstan
Natural gas supplies to the South of Kyrgyzstan were renewed today after an eight-month stoppage. This was achieved due to the accord between Gazprom and the Uzbekneftegaz petroleum company for 2015, stipulating the annual supply of up to 100 million cubic meters of natural gas to the southern regions of the country.
Gazprom to Upgrade Gas Supplies to Kyrgyzstan
The development of gas transmission and distribution infrastructure of Kyrgyzstan was discussed during a meeting held at the Gazprom headquarters hosted today between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Djoomart Otorbaev, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was pointed out that the relevant facilities in the Republic were well rundown. In this regard, Gazprom is working out the General Gas Supply and Gasification Scheme of Kyrgyzstan until 2030.
