Tendeka Launches FloFuse

Independent global completions service company Tendeka said it has launched a new technology that increases oil recovery by improving injected water conformance in fractured reservoirs or by ensuring effective placement of matrix stimulation acids.When installed across a segmented wellbore, FloFuse autonomously chokes back injection into thief zones or large fractures that dominate the outflow profile and ensures effective injection into the rock matrix or fracture structure.

Avalos Joins Reactive Downhole Tools

Reactive Downhole Tools, supplier of lower completion systems to the global oil and gas industry, has marked its fourth year of trading with the appointment of a business development manager for the North America region. Stacey Avalos joins the management team and will be based at Reactive’s 30,000 sq ft Houston office and facility, which was launched in 2013 and represented an investment of $5 million. Proserv Acquired by Riverstone

Global energy services company Proserv specializes in bespoke technology and solutions.

Energy services company Proserv has reinforced its ambitious growth plans after announcing it has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by major US private equity investor Riverstone Holdings LLC. Proserv will continue to operate as an independent company under the deal announced today to which Riverstone Global Energy and Power Fund V, L.P., in partnership with Proserv management, has agreed to acquire 100% of the shares of Proserv from Intervale Capital (“Intervale”), Weatherford International (“Weatherford”) and certain minority shareholders.

Energy sector service group Glacier Energy Services has acquired MSL Heat Transfer, the Aberdeen-based radiator and cooler design, manufacture, repair and refurbishment provider, marking completion of Glacier’s sixth acquisition as it carries out a reorganization into four divisions to augment its service offering to its customers across the international energy sector. Global Demand Drives Mirage Machines Expansion

Energy sector portable machine tool specialist Mirage Machines, an Acteon Company, said it has invested a six figure sum in the expansion of its headquarters in Derby, U.K., as it responds to continuously rising demand for its pipecutting and flange facing technology. Mirage Machines has acquired new office premises 5,000 sq ft adjacent to its existing engineering headquarters, to facilitate the extension of its manufacturing and service operations workshop to 17,000 sq ft.
