- Managed and oversaw the start and implementation of a water quality program for an NGO by creating a water quality protocol manual highlighting proper scientific instruments required and proper handling, monitoring techniques, data sample sheets, identified sites of high importance, and bacteria abundance testing in Maunalua Bay
- Researched best green infrastructure management practices applicable to O’ahu to reduce pollution runoff

New England Aquarium - Boston, MA – Marine Mammal Education and Research Intern March - June 2015
- Collected, transcribed, and analyzed field data including whale feeding and social behaviors, location, and identification of the whales in the Stellwagen Bank region. This data was then used by the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies for further research

New England Aquarium - Boston, MA – Wet Lab and Edge of Sea Aquarist October 2014 – March 2015
- Performed animal husbandry responsibilities for the touch tank and 800 gallon seahorse and juvenile fish exhibit
- Gathered and recorded daily temperatures, managed daily feeding routines, completed daily cleaning of holding tanks and water systems among other various tasks throughout the aquarium

- Conducted and enforced public health inspections at public water systems, food service establishments, campgrounds, mobile home parks, pools, public beaches, temporary residences, and markets for public health violations

- Organized, promoted, managed, and gained approval from school board to construct a sustainable campus garden and other projects
