About Me _______________________________________________________ Born in Lansing, Michigan on June 18, 1960. I’m in very good (for my age) physical shape and great mental health with no disabilities or handicaps. Most importantly, I’m wise enough and old enough now to know that no man knows everything, but given the right tools, service manuals, and my Google girl….. I can fix virtually anything!
Career/Skills Summary______________________________________________
Have worked in the oil, logging, commercial vessels, mining and – for 17+ of the last 20 years – yachting industries, which requires a thorough understanding and knowledge of engines, turbines, gearboxes, generators, pumps & compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, water makers & boilers, HVAC, electrical, welding, machining and safety, among others. Over decades of active practice in many types of mechanical work, I’ve also:
• Hired, organized, and supervised up to 25 employees and contractors for a single project.
• Sourced, negotiated, and conducted oversight of multiple vendors and contractors in each case.
