- I am a qualified and experienced marine engineer and rig mechanic. Have currently been serving as a rig mechanic offshore in Brazil on a drillship called the Carolina. Gained lots of skills in heavy engineering and advanced hydraulics due to the maintenance on the drill floor equipment. Before that served as a third engineer with Maersk line looking after the four stroke generator prime movers and their associated systems, also helped the 2nd and 4th engineer if help was needed. Also served as the safety officer onboard the container ships whilst with Maersk Line.

Once qualified served first as a 5th engineer and then was promoted to a 4th engineer looking after purifiers, compressors and boilers on board the container ships. Also performed regular watch keeping duties whilst on board.
