Duties and Responsibilities & Skills
●Read and review of engineering drawing such as lighting, power,
DB’s schedules, earthing and lightning protection systems, wiring
details, electrical schematic, single line diagram, Piping and
instrument diagrams.
●Inspection of Power and control cable lying, cable pulling, cable
dressing, cable glands, cable crimping, cable termination, cable
identification, and tagging.
●Inspect and list all the equipment installed in hazardous zones
Review maintenance records to highlight any problems●Connection of wire.
●Conduct an ignition hazard assessment on non-electrical
equipment.
●Assess the electrical equipment with respect to its certification
Record your findings in a report or file Implement any correctiveaction arising.
●Responsible of E&I installation & inspection activities on the Site.
●Installation & inspection of instruments and electrical types of
equipment and panels.
●Supervise the quality control function on site.
●Conducting different tests such as line check& loop tests carried out
by the Yard.
●Monitoring, review, and inspection of all major activities and
progress of the E&I construction works.
●Interface with engineering, planning, and procurement as well as
other disciplines.
●Responsible for E&I construction activities.
●Inspection of materials as per project specifications.
●Rectification action plan for generated punch.
●Responsible for clearing punches with contractors.
●Co-ordination with client & contractors attending safety
co-ordination meeting.
●Have a knowledge about the type of CMP Ex gland to Steal&braid
amour
●Understanding Electrical Drawings
●Good organization and housekeeping
