Resposible for the safe, eifficient, and economical administration and operation of Engine Department and all vessel machinery. Liaison with government regulatory bodies and classification societies in order to maintain all vessel documentations and Certificate of Inspection. Write specifications for vessel voyage repairs, shipyarding, engineering system enhancements and equipment upgrades and supervise their accomplishment. Train new and existing personnel so that they were confidant in all aspects of engineering operations and not just their specific duties.
