SUMMARY 

Combined experience in electronics and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV), with a background in Navy submarine operations.  I am constantly looking for the next challenge to improve myself and deliver successful solutions to difficult problems.

• Serve as a Pilot-in-Charge for active missions, insuring mission success criteria are met. 
• Provide front-line support for incoming customer inquiries, support field & engineering/test operations deployments, manage event escalation, provide ad-hoc reports as projects require, assist with incident research/response and status customers and management with service case progress.
• Conduct operational risk assessment reports for upcoming missions, and mission plan management

• Complete installations of integrated circuit handlers, including pick-and-place and gravity handlers for North America customers
• Provide training for customers, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic problems on handler equipment
• Assist Multitest headquarters, located in Rosenheim, Germany, with updating technical documents, provide new ideas to improve handler performance, and technical feedback on new handler performance

• After a mass lay-off at KLA-Tencor, continued pursuing a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Physical Sciences at National University full-time, with concurrent coursework at City College of San Francisco
• Worked three months for LG Electronics as a field service technician while attending online coursework and thereby gained knowledge in home appliance repair, inventory protocols and quality assurance

Optics Systems Certification to include handling, inspecting and cleaning optical components, optics principles, and aligning optical systems

Completed installations of reticle inspection equipment for overseas customers, totaling over 200 million dollars in company revenue. Installations were completed on time and at the same or better qualifications as in production

Worked as a solo member or with another individual on all installs, showing my ability to self-manage all install timelines, address customer issues, and prove reliability to the company

United States NavyDec 1996 – Dec 2006

Fire Control Technician/Instructor

Course Supervisor for global communications course

Senior qualified member of team, administering advanced computer simulations for fleet command parties  

Served as Assistant Technical Customer Representative for the Navy Marine Corps Intranet, and functioned as a direct line of communication for all desktop and peripheral troubleshooting calls to NMCI

System expert and division leader of fire control team; provided senior guidance in the operation, maintenance and repair of fire control guidance systems on nuclear submarines 

Qualified as the senior watch station Contact Coordinator onboard USS City of Corpus Christi (SSN-705) - only the second Class Petty Officer to do so
