While at school I worked as Deck Cadet, standing watch and working on deck both in port and at sea. Did various tasks such as docking, un-docking, working with both the stores crane and all three heavy lift cranes, terrestrial navigation, celestial navigation, helmsman and conman both at sea and in pilotage waters.
