Posted by October 18, 2016

Surgutneftegaz awarded 400,000 tonnes of Urals crude to Total in a spot tender for loading from the Baltic Sea ports of Primorsk and Ust-Luga early in November, traders said.

* The cargoes were placed at a discount of some $2.40-$2.45 a barrel to dated Brent, when adding freight to the original FOB-basis price, they said.

* The tender closed on Oct. 18 at 14:00 Moscow time.

* Surgut offered 100,000-tonne cargoes for loading in Primorsk on Nov. 1-2 and 4-5. In Ust-Luga participants were invited to bid for cargoes loading on Nov. 2-3 and 5-6.

* On Tuesday Surgut called a tender to sell another 100,000 tonnes of Urals from Primorsk on Nov. 2-3.

* Russia's Urals exports from Primorsk and Ust-Luga in October will reach the record level of 7.8 million tonnes, Reuters data shows.

* Surgutneftegaz holds spot tenders for Urals and ESPO Blend grades regularly, but never discloses the results or buyers.
