PPG Industries will showcase new coatings products for the marine and offshore industry at this week’s Australasian Oil and Gas (AOG) Exhibition at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in Perth, Australia, the company announced today.

The Pittsburgh-based company will demonstrate its PITT-CHAR XP dual-performance cryogenic spill protection coating, which protects against extremely high and low temperatures in marine and industrial environments. The company will also present SIGMASHIELD 880, a two component, abrasion-resistant, multi-purpose epoxy, primarily designed for use in offshore splash-zone maintenance.

"AOG gives us an opportunity to talk to our customers in the vitally important Australasia Region about our capabilities and demonstrate the benefits of our premium products first-hand,” said Donald Le, Offshore Segment Manager at PPG Industries (PPG).

AOG has been Australasia’s largest oil and gas industry event for more than 30 years. Organizers expect over 600 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, and more than 15,000 visitors, exhibitors and conference delegates from around the world to attend.
