PGNiG Agrees Deal with Operator on Norway Gas Flows

Posted by January 22, 2018

Poland's state-run gas firm PGNiG has signed an agreement with a gas system operator for the transmission of gas from Norway to Poland via Denmark through a planned Baltic Pipe pipeline in 2022-2037, PGNiG said in a statement on Monday.

The Baltic Pipe, which is expected to be built by 2022, is Poland's flagship project aimed at reducing reliance on gas supplies from Russia.
