Posted by May 5, 2014

State-run Petroperu launched a tender to buy two 360,000 barrel cargoes of Latin American, West African or North Sea crude to be received June 10-30 at the Peruvian ports of Talara and Conchan, according to a document seen by Reuters on Monday.

The company bought a similar cargo in April and in recent weeks it also tendered to purchase cracked naphtha, high octane gasoline blend stock, biodiesel and ultra low-sulfur diesel (ULSD).

The company said that for this tender it will accept offers of Ecuadorian Napo or Oriente crudes; Colombian Vasconia, Cano Limon, South Blend or Castilla; Brazilian Bijupira, Marlim or Roncador 28; Argentine Canadon Seco or Escalante; and Venezuelan Mesa 30, Santa Barbara or Leona 24.

It will also consider offers of West African crudes or British Forties.

Bids will be received until May 6 and they must be indexed to Brent or West Texas Intermediate prices.
