OMV Sticks to Strategy despite Top Exec's Exit Plans
Austrian oil and gas company OMV is sticking to its goal to boost production to 400,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2016, it said on Tuesday after announcing its head of exploration and production would leave before his contract ends.
OMV Chief Executive Gerhard Roiss said in an emailed statement the company's strategy to focus on exploration and production, rather than on refining and marketing, would remain unaffected by the departure plans of Jaap Huijskes.
