OMV Plans to Keep Majority in North Sea Assets

Austrian energy company OMV intends to keep majority stakes in its assets in the North Sea that will be part of an asset swap with Russia's Gazprom, the company said on Monday.
 
"We plan to keep a majority (stake) in our assets in the North Sea region," OMV Chief Executive Rainer Seele said in an interview with Austria's Industriemagazin. An OMV spokesman confirmed that the quote was accurate.
