Norway Expects More Investment Decisions this Year

Posted by January 9, 2017

Norway's oil minister believes energy firms will sanction more projects this year compared to 2016, when five field development plans were presented to authorities for approval, he told Reuters on Monday.

"I don't have an exact number (for the number of development plans), but we must exceed what we had in 2016," said Terje Soeviknes, who was appointed as oil minister in December.
