Posted by September 3, 2014

Linde North America, Inc. is a corporate sponsor for MassBio's 20th Annual Golf Classic, a major fundraiser that benefits its sister organization, the MassBioEd Foundation. The event will be held on September 5 at the Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

The MassBioEd Foundation supports science and biotechnology education in Massachusetts through educational programs, workforce development, and lifelong learning. MassBioEd Foundation's signature BioTeach program provides biotech curriculum, lab equipment and supplies, teacher professional development and mentoring, and student career exploration experiences to 201 schools across the Commonwealth.

"We are extremely grateful for Linde's continued support of the MassBio Golf Classic," said Lance Hartford, Executive Director of the MassBioEd Foundation. "Through industry support and funds raised through the Golf Classic, along with government and nonprofit partnerships, we have created a statewide, systemic, STEM education program. Working together, we can and will continue to inspire and develop the scientific innovators of the future."

"Linde values its long-term relationship with MassBio and understands the importance of the effort MassBioEd provides in its support of science and biotechnology education in Massachusetts," said John MacRitchie, head of markets - East and Midwest for Linde North America, Inc. "We view our support of MassBioEd as an investment in the future for our customers and their employees by helping to insure they have the skill and talent necessary to optimize their performance within the industry."
