The contract, worth in excess of £25 million, means that
James Fisher will be responsible for providing key elements of marine services and support to the Galloper team during the construction phase of the wind farm including; construction site set-up, marine co-ordination, OWMS marine management system, crew transfer vessels, vessel refueling and
emergency response services. The contract also includes provision of ad-hoc support arrangements for diving services, operation of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), and unexploded ordnance (UXO) identification and disposal.
The offshore construction phase of the project is scheduled to commence in June 2016 and to complete in late 2017. The wind farm will commence operation in March 2018.
