HENDERSON Opens New Service Center
Drilling rigs and capital drilling equipment sales and service provider HENDERSON has expanded its service capabilities with a newly opened 60,000 square-foot service center on a 4.8 acre site in Odessa, Texas.
The new center serves as a spare parts warehouse and provides rig and equipment services including rebuilding and recertifying rigs, top drives, mud pumps and other drilling rig equipment. It includes a 5,000 square-foot office space, sandblasting area, paint booth, weld shop, 15 overhead cranes and hydrostatic testing.
"Our aim at HENDERSON is to provide the industry with quick, reliable, turnkey service on rigs and capital equipment. We have successfully completed projects throughout North America, but previously, our service centers were solely located in Houston and Canada," said James Lank, president and COO, HENDERSON. "With a strengthened presence in Odessa, we can expand our geographic reach, become more accessible to our Permian Basin customers and perform entire rig projects in our new yard."
Charlie Lacour, HENDERSON's general manager for the Permian Basin region, will be in charge of the center, which can accommodate up to 50 employees.
