Gazprom Neft: Arctic Oil Supply Deal Signed

Posted by February 9, 2016

Gazprom Neft, the oil arm of Russian gas giant Gazprom, said on Tuesday it had prolonged a deal to supply oil from the Prirazlomnoye Arctic oil field with an unnamed international firm in 2016.

Gazprom Neft said it will supply eight to 12 cargoes of Arctic oil, each amounting to 100,000 tonnes, this year.

Last year, the company produced more than 800,000 tonnes (16,000 barrels per day) of oil at the field, Russia's sole Arctic offshore deposit where oil is currently produced.
