Gazprom to Meet South Ossetian Gas Demand

A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Leonid Tibilov, President of the Republic of South Ossetia, took place at the Company's headquarters today.

The meeting addressed bilateral cooperation in the gas sector. Particular attention was paid to Russian natural gas supplies to the Republic.

In addition, the parties discussed the development prospects of South Ossetia's gas transmission infrastructure within the framework of the General Gasification Scheme of the Republic drafted by Gazprom. It was noted that, by implementing the Scheme, the Company would meet the full demand of local consumers for pipeline gas.
