Gazprom Downplays U.S. LNG Impact on European Gas Market

An expected influx of liquefied natural gas (LNGLF) (LNG) from the United States will not materially alter Europe's gas pricing picture, Alexander Medvedev, deputy head of Russia's gas giant Gazprom, said on Monday.
 
He said that it would be costly for the US to ship its LNG to Europe and that its imports would be limited.
