Gazprom 2017 Net Profit Falls to 714 Bln Roubles

Russian gas giant Gazprom said on Thursday its net profit totalled 714 billion roubles ($11.38 billion) in 2017, down from 952 billion roubles a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Reuters had expected the company to post a net profit of 684 billion roubles.

Revenue totalled 6.5 trillion roubles, the company said, while earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) came in at 1.47 trillion roubles.
