Alstom, a French train manufacturer, announced on Tuesday that it had received 2.4 million euro ($1.08m) in public funding as part of the France 2030 plan to speed up the development of an intelligent train safety platform. It also announced a 125-million-euro order to supply 10 more regio2n train sets to the Auvergne/Rhone Alpes region.
ARGAN: French firm Argan announced on Tuesday a rental income of 52.9 million euro in the first quarter. It also confirmed its outlook for 2025.
COLRUYT - The Belgian retailer Colruyt Group announced on Tuesday that it had increased its stake in Smartmat from 50% to 100%.
DANONE: French food and beverage giant Danone has successfully issued a bond worth 800 million euros.
French retailer Fnac Darty has announced the results of the repurchase of outstanding Oceanes that are due in march 2027. The repurchase was done via reverse bookbuilding. The repurchase price is set at 77.25 euro per oceane, which represents a total of 147.9 millions euros.
FRANCE/POLITICS/MARINE LE PEN: A Paris court said on Tuesday three appeals have been filed so far in the case against the far-right National Rally party that saw leader Marine Le Pen banned from running for office for five years, but did not provide details on who had filed them. The appeals court announced in a press release that it will rule on the appeals by the summer of 2026 ahead of the presidential election of 2027.
VALNEVA: French company Valneva has announced that its Chikungunya vaccination is now approved in the EU. It's for adolescents 12 years and older.
