Excision of Gaspetro

Petrobras announces that its Board of Directors at a meeting held today, aprobola split of Petrobras Gás SA (Gaspetro).

This split aims to segregate the assets and liabilities related to the business of distribution of natural gas from the other assets and liabilities of the company, Gaspetro transforming into a holding company that will consolidate the shares of Petrobras in the distribution of natural gas.

The Council also approved the establishment of a new wholly owned subsidiary of Petrobras (Petrobras Gás SA Logistics) in order to receive the assets and liabilities not related to the business of natural gas distribution Gaspetro segregated.
