ATPI, Teekay Offshore Ink Travel Management Deal

No Cheap Fuel Bonanza for Airlines

While airlines are in no rush to pass on fuel savings to passengers brought by the collapse in oil prices, the Houston travel market has left them little choice. Airlines serving the U.S. oil capital have resorted to steep discounts to lure newly budget-conscious energy executives back into the air, according to an analysis of ticket prices provided exclusively to Reuters. Crude's 70-percent drop in the past 19 months has made the Houston travel market a rare point of downward pressure on airline revenues.

Coutts Joins ATP Instone Sales Team

ATP Instone, part of the ATPI Group, a specialist division dedicated to powering travel management for the offshore and energy sectors, has appointed Lynn Coutts as head of energy sales for Aberdeen. Coutts has been part of the ATPI Group for two and a half years, previously as an account manager. In a career spanning over 12 years, she has held a number of travel management roles including director of sales for Millennium and Copthorne Hotels, and director of sales for FCM Travel, before joining the ATPI Group in 2012.
