AREG Membership on the Rise
Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) reports it has seen its membership numbers rise over the past 12 months with an increase in the number of companies supporting both the offshore wind and wave and tidal sectors.Among the 25 new sign-ups are marine engineering firm EC-OG, weather forecasting business StormGeo AS, fabric maintenance business, Venko Offshore and Optimus, the multi-discipline engineering design consultancy.
iSURVEY Reports Success in Q1 2017
Provider of survey and positioning services to the global oil and gas, offshore renewables and telecommunications markets, iSURVEY, has reported a strong end to 2016 and a positive first quarter of 2017, including ongoing recruitment due to a string of significant contract wins. Part of this growth has also been attributed to iSURVEY’s diversification into the offshore wind sector last year.
iSURVEY Bags rig positioning, surveying contract with Shell
iSURVEY has secured a non exclusive call-off contract with Shell UK Ltd, Shell NAM, Norske Shell and Shell E&P Ireland for the provision of rig positioning and surveying services.
