Sparrows Group, SapuraKencana Petroleum Partner in Malaysia

Sparrows Group is set to further grow its presence in the Asian Pacific market following the formation of a partnership between Sparrows Offshore Services Pte Ltd and SapuraKencana Technology Sdn Bhd, the latter being a wholly-owned subsidiary of SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad. The partnership will see both entities collaborating in the provision of offshore and onshore crane services including manufacturing, supply, operations, maintenance and overhaul of offshore and onshore cranes for the oil and gas industry in Malaysia.

SapuraKencana Wins $ 113 mi Mexico Contract

SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad's (“SapuraKencana”) wholly-owned subsidiary company, SapuraKencana Mexicana S.A.P.I. de C.V. LNG1 (L) Ltd. (PFLNG) to provide maintenance services for PETRONAS’ two forthcoming floating LNG vessels. SapuraKencana Nets 16% Profit

SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad announced its third quarter results for the period ended 31 October 2015 (for financial year ending 31 January 2016).  Revenue for third quarter of RM2,891 million, year-to-date revenue of RM7,952 million.  Profit before tax for the quarter (excluding provisions for impairment on property, plant and equipment, oil and gas properties, investments and changes in provision) of RM463 million with a profit before tax margin of 16.0%.  Current orderbook of RM21 billion.  Current cash and bank balance of RM2,356 million, an increase of RM566 million from the previous quarter.

Sapurakencana to Launch its First Sukuk Offering

SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad ("SKPB") through its wholly-owned subsidiary, SapuraKencana TMC Sdn Bhd ("SKTMC"), today announced the signing of the transaction documents for its inaugural Multi-Currency Islamic Medium Term Notes Programme (“MultiCurrency Sukuk Programme”). The first tranche of the Sukuk offering of USD 200 million in nominal value under the Multi–Currency Sukuk Programme has been scheduled to be launched on 8th September 2015. Proceeds raised will be utilised to partly refinance SKTMC’s existing financing.

Sapurakencana Petroleum Post FY 2015 Results

SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad has reported a revenue increase of 19% having achieved a total of RM 9.9 billion for the year 2015. Profits before tax was RM 1.6 billion, an increase of 34% compared to FY2014. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Shahril Shamsuddin, President and Group CEO commented, “The Group has generated revenues of RM 9.9 billion and profits before tax of RM 1.6 billion for FY2015 as compared to RM 8.4 billion and RM 1.2 billion respectively for FY2014. Correspondingly, the Group’s earnings per share rose 27% from 18.9 sen to 23.9 sen per share in that same period.
