Sandvik to Supply OCTG for ADNOC

Sandvik, a developer and producer of advanced stainless steels, special alloys, titanium and other high-performance materials, said it has entered into a long-term agreement with Tenaris to supply Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) following its award from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in August 2019.ADNOC has awarded Tenaris a long-term contract for the provision of tubulars and Rig Direct services over the next five years, with the possibility of a two-year extension.

Hammerfest LNG Ships 1000th LNG Cargo

Aker Wins Hook-Up Deal for Johan Sverdrup Field

Aker Solutions won a contract from Statoil for the hook-up of the riser platform for the Johan Sverdrup field, Norway's largest offshore development in the past three decades. The company will work closely with subcontractor Kvaerner on joining together the platform's seven modules, which will be transported to Norway in the second quarter of 2018. Aker Solutions Wins Troll B Modifications Contract

Aker Solutions secured a contract from Statoil to deliver a compression module for the Troll field in the North Sea to help boost output at one of Norway's key offshore fields. The contract is valued at NOK 370 million and is an option in a front end engineering and design (FEED) agreement awarded to Aker Solutions in January. The scope is for engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) to boost the gas treatment capacity at Troll B to increase oil recovery.

Aker Solutions Shuffles Leadership Team

Aker Solutions is introducing a new executive management structure effective November 1, 2016, with the aim to drive further standardization and boost companywide cost-efficiency by at least 30 percent by the end of 2017. The new organization will have five delivery centers: customer management, front end, products, projects and services. As part of the plan, Dean Watson has been named chief operating officer.

Norway’s Aker Solutions said it has secured work to tie-in the Utgard Field to the Sleipner Area. The work, valued at about NOK 500 million, is for platform modifications at Sleipner to tie in the Utgard subsea field. Aker Solutions in April won a contract for preliminary engineering work to enable the tie-in. The contract included an option for EPCIC work which Statoil has now chosen to exercise.

Aker Solutions' maintenance, modifications and operations (MMO) business in Norway secured a contract from Statoil for preliminary engineering work to enable a tie-in of the Utgard gas and condensate field to the Sleipner facilities in the North Sea. Aker Solutions Bags BP's Norwegian Contract

Aker Solutions won a framework agreement to provide maintenance and modifications services at BP-operated oil and gas fields offshore Norway. The contract has a fixed period of five years valued at as much as NOK 3.2 billion. It also contains options to extend the agreement by as many as four years. The accord starts on December 1, 2015 on expiration of an existing agreement for similar services.

Sandvik to Present at NACE CORROSION 2015

Global technology engineering group Sandvik will present corrosion resistant alloys, including its new Sandvik SAF 3207 (UNS S33207) hyper-duplex stainless steel at NACE CORROSION 2015, the company announced today. NACE CORROSION 2015, the world's largest corrosion conference and exhibition, will take place in  Dallas, Texas, between March 15-19, at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center.

Nautilus Minerals Inc. (TSX:NUS, OTCQX: NUSMF) announced  that assembly of the Bulk Cutter (BC), which is the first of the Seafloor Production Tools (SPTs), has been completed. Nautilus' CEO, Mike Johnston said "This is a major milestone for the Company, having the first of the three SPTs assembled. Subsea vehicle designer and manufacturer, Soil Machine Dynamics Ltd (SMD) of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, is the company responsible for building the SPTs for Nautilus.
