N-Sea Opens Office in Dubai

As part of its continuing global growth strategy, subsea IMR provider N-Sea has announced the opening of a new office in Dubai, with operations due to commence as early as August 2016. The new base will support N-Sea’s increased presence in the region, allowing the company to conduct diving, ROV and survey projects in the civil engineering and offshore markets throughout the UAE. The company has appointed Asa Gamble as Managing Director for the Middle East region, who will be responsible for the establishment and growth of all N-Sea services and products in the region.

N-Sea to Clear Unexploded Ordnance for UK Wind Farm

Subsea IMR provider, N-Sea, has been awarded a new contract with Galloper Offshore Wind Farm Ltd (GWFL). The contract for pre-construction unexploded ordnance (UXO) clearance works commenced in April 2016 and includes UXO risk management, target investigations and clearance on the Galloper Wind Farm, off the coast of Suffolk. Expected to run for between 3-6 months, the project sees the Siem N-Sea multi-support vessel utilize a WROV to investigate potential UXO targets within the array areas and export cable corridor. N-Sea’s dive support vessel, Neptunus, will also undertake similar tasks in shallow water areas.

Subsea IMR provider, N-Sea, has won the Safety Innovations award at this year’s SPE Aberdeen Offshore Achievement Awards. Winners were announced at an awards ceremony last night at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC). The Safety Innovations Award recognizes excellence in innovative technology and products that have been developed in the UK and which contribute to offshore safety. N-Sea Announces Expansion to Norwich

Subsea IMR provider, N-Sea Offshore Ltd has moved into new, Norwich-based premises as business continues to grow. An integral part of its growth strategy, the premises signify further expansion for N-Sea and will support the company’s increased activity in the oil and gas and renewable market in the Southern North Sea area. Offshore renewable activity currently accounts for almost 30 percent of N-Sea’s business, through its bases in Aberdeen and Zierikzee, The Netherlands. The new office facility at Dragonfly House, Norwich will serve to maintain and grow this market, supported by the appointment of business development manager, Gary Thirkettle.

N-Sea Lands Major North Sea IMR Contract

N-Sea UK, an integrated subsea services contractor, announced a £45 million contract win for inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) activity with a major North Sea operator. The contract, which commenced the first of April, will see N-Sea commit its diving support vessel (DSV), the Siem Stork, to support IMR activities, for up to 150 days per year, depending on work scope, for the next three years. The project will be managed by N-Sea’s UK operations, and will involve approximately 70 employees, with onsite operatives working from the vessel and diver intervention craft supported by an onshore project management team based in Aberdeen, UK.
