Orbital Awarded Quality Accreditation

Orbital Gas Systems North America (Orbital), a CUI Global company, has announced that certification audits on its headquarters and manufacturing center in Houston have been successfully completed and that the company was awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certification on Feb. 13, 2017. Extensive audits of Orbital were carried out earlier this year by the international independent and renowned certification body, National Quality Assurance, USA (Global Certification Body | NQA). ISO 9001 is the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS).

XPD8 Seals Condition Monitoring Contract

XPD8 Solutions, an asset integrity management specialist, informs it has secured a two-year contract with CNR International. The agreement will see the Aberdeen-headquartered firm provide condition monitoring services to five CNR platforms in the North Sea. XPD8 Wins Contract with Tullow Oil in Ghana

Asset integrity management specialist, XPD8 Solutions, has secured a $564,000 contract for work in West Africa with Tullow Oil. Over six-months, the Aberdeen-headquartered firm will migrate Tullow Oil’s existing computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to the Maximo software package. The system will support planning, scheduling, performance monitoring and reporting of asset integrity key performance indicators at the Jubilee floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel in Ghana. The scope of work includes cleansing, enrichment and migration of existing master data to the new CMMS and its implementation.

XPD8 Seals Contracts in North Sea, Malaysia

Asset integrity management specialist XPD8 Solutions has secured more than £2.25 million in combined contract wins for work in the North Sea and Malaysia. Over a period of 12 months, XPD8 will develop the work management system, which includes asset register, maintenance program and population and analysis of ‘spares’ data for a major operator on the U.K. Continental Shelf. In the Asia Pacific region, the Aberdeen-based firm’s risk mitigation department will provide quality assurance and control services on a three-year contract with a two-year extension option.

Asset integrity management specialist XPD8 Solutions said it has continued its recent success in West Africa for work off the coast of Ghana. Over an 18-month period, the company will develop the maintenance program and inventory data for MODEC’s TEN MV25 floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, operated on behalf of Tullow Oil. XPD8 is a company in maintenance engineering, condition monitoring and integrity services for the oil and gas sector. The company’s international reach has grown over the past 12 months to cover Europe, South East Asia and Africa.
