Moog Focal Products for APL Norway AS

A Floating Storage and Offloading project in the Norwegian Sea is to benefit from high-end products for data and process control from MacArtney & Moog Focal.MacArtney has secured a contract from APL Norway AS, a Norwegian Mooring and Loading Systems provider - part of NOV Completion & Production Solutions. The scope of supply covers a Moog Focal Low Voltage Electrical Optical Swivel (LVEOS) and a Medium Voltage Electrical Swivel (MVES) for the Equinor Njord Bravo FSO project in the Norwegian Sea.

Kongsberg Wins Johan Sverdrup Phase 2 Contract

Equinor Energy AS has contracted Kongsberg Maritime to deliver the Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) for the recently announced phase 2 of the Johan Sverdrup development in the Norwegian North Sea.The phase 2 agreement includes delivery of SAS and digital technology for a new processing platform, which is due to start production in 2022. Fick Appointed M.D. Gazprom EP International

Andrey Fick has been appointed Managing Director of Gazprom EP International B.V. by resolution of the company's General Shareholders Meeting. Andrey Fick was born in the Krasnodar Territory, Russia, in 1969. He graduated from the Krasnodar Polytechnic Institute in 1993, majoring in Engineering Technologies. He obtained his second university degree from the Kuban State Technological University in 2000, majoring in Cryo-Engineering. He has an MBA degree and a PhD degree in Engineering. He has been a member of Gazprom's team since 1996.

AGSL Software Chosen for BP’s Quad 204 Project

Kongsberg Maritime says it has been awarded a Project Specific Agreement including FEED for delivery of Safety and Automation (SAS) systems to the four Johan Sverdrup field platforms by Statoil Petroleum AS. Kongsberg explains that the  Project Specific Agreement includes an option for delivery of Safety and Automation Equipment including detail engineering services and commissioning services. The agreement is subject to Statoil final investment decision.

Fire Shelters Enhance Safety for Offshore Gas Project

Three passive fire shelters designed to protect the control electronics of automatic emergency shutdown and fire suppression systems on offshore gas production platforms in the Arabian Gulf are being supplied by the outdoor enclosure specialist Intertec. Fabricated using lightweight composite GRP (glass reinforced polyester) materials, the shelters employ patented techniques to resist fire for two hours, allowing critical electronic safety equipment to remain operational.
