Fire at Enterprise Pascagoula Plant being Investigated
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE: EPD) is investigating the cause of a fire that occurred yesterday at its natural gas processing facility in Pascagoula, Mississippi. There were no injuries nor impacts to the surrounding community and the fire was restricted to inside the facility. The situation is under control and the plant has been shut down. Enterprise personnel have been working closely with local emergency responders and the company has notified all appropriate regulatory authorities.
Chevron’s Pascagoula Refinery Starts Production

Chevron Corporation subsidiary Chevron U.S.A. Inc. announced that it has begun commercial production of premium base oils from a newly constructed manufacturing facility at the company's Pascagoula refinery. Base oils produced at Pascagoula will add to capacity from the company's refinery in Richmond, California and a joint venture facility in Yeosu, Korea, approximately doubling Chevron's production capacity and positioning it to be the world's largest producer of premium base oil.
