Nordic Maritime Bags Seismic Survey Contract

Nordic Maritime Pte. Ltd., has been awarded the contract to provide 2D seismic survey work in Indonesia by MultiClient Geophysical (Pte) Ltd. (“MCG”). This survey is expected to commence in December 2014 and will take approximately 60 days to complete. The vessel to undertake this contract will be the S/V Nordic Bahari and the survey will consist of two parts: a regional long offset program of minimum 1753km offshore Lombok and smaller program of minimum 1014km offshore East Sulawesi. Nordic Wins with Noble

Nordic Maritime, a leading offshore service operator, today announced a five year time charter for its DP2 IMR Subsea vessel, Mokul Nordic, which has been awarded by Noble Energy, the international energy provider. “At Nordic Maritime, we are delighted to have won this long term charter contract directly with a highly reputed international oil company, Noble Energy. This is a major achievement for us and together with our co-owner of this vessel, MDL Energy, we see this as a potential to grow our fleet of medium size IMR Subsea vessels in the years going forward” said Kjell Gauksheim, Executive Director of Nordic Maritime .

Nordic Maritime Awarded Seismic Survey Project

Nordic Maritime, in association with Alamjaya Makmur Sejahtera and PT Bahari Lines Indonesia, has been awarded the provision of marine seismic data acquisition & processing services for a 1,200 line km area in the Sakti production sharing contract in offshore East Java. The vessel to undertake the award will be the S/V Nordic Bahari. The client is independent upstream oil and gas company, KrisEnergy. “The Nordic Bahari is being kept very busy with both 2D and 3D seismic survey work,” said Nordic Maritime’s Executive Director, Kjell Gauksheim. The Sakti exploration block covers 4,974 sq km in the East Java Sea with water depths up to 60 metres.

Statoil Claims Mokul Nordic for North Sea Charter

Nordic Maritime’s latest fleet addition wins first work with energy giant. Nordic Maritime has announced its newest DP2 vessel, Mokul Nordic, has been contracted for a 30 days firm plus an optional 15 days charter in the North Sea by international energy provider Statoil. “At Nordic Maritime, we are delighted to have won our inaugural contract with Statoil in 2014, the year in which we celebrate our 15th anniversary,” said Kjell Gauksheim, Nordic Maritime CEO. Mokul Nordic is a DP2 VS470 MKIII subsea service vessel capable of ROV / IMR operations.

Nordic Clinches $23.5m Offshore Seismic Contract

Singapore-based offshore specialist Nordic Maritime has been awarded a $23.5 million contract to provide 3D marine seismic data acquisition and processing services off the coast of Andhra Pradesh, India, to Cairn India Limited, starting later this month. The contract will see Nordic Maritime collaborate with SCF Geo of Russia and will feature that group’s seismic survey vessel Vyacheslav Tikhonov. The Vyacheslav Tikhonov will survey approximately 1,000 sq km of ocean bed. The project will also include the acquisition of gravity and magnetic data alongside the seismic data near Nizamapatnam Bay.
