Rosneft, PetroRio Approved for Solimoes Project
Rosneft Brasil (Rosneft subsidiary) and PetroRio received approval by the Brazilian National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP) for the Rosneft Brasil transaction to acquire additional 55% in the Solimoes project. Under the agreement the final completion date of the purchase and transaction shall be agreed between PetroRio and Rosneft Brasil and is expect to occur within 30 days.

Petrobras announces that its total domestic oil and natural gas production in January 2015 was 2.661 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), averaging about the same as December of last year (2.675 million boed). Petrobras announces confirmation of the extension of the Jupiter discovery in Santos Basin pre-salt block BM-S-24 following drilling operations at well 3-BRSA-1246-RJS (3-RJS-732), informally known as Apollonia. This well, which is situated 296 km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, at a water depth of 2,183 meters, is the fourth well drilled in the Jupiter area and is 8 km to the southwest of discovery well (1-RJS-652A).
Rosneft Brasil to Acquire Controlling Stakes in Solimoes Project
Rosneft Brasil (Rosneft subsidiary) and HRT O&G (HRT subsidiary) received approval by the Brazilian National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP) for the Rosneft Brasil transaction to acquire additional 6% in the Solimoes project. Under the agreement the completion of the purchase and transaction between HRTO&G and Rosneft Brasil shall occur up to 30 days after the regulatory approval.
