Linde, Hyosung to Build World’s Largest Liquid Hydrogen Plant in S. Korea

South Korea's Hyosung and the global industrial gases provider Linde Group will invest in the construction of a liquid hydrogen plant on an area of about 30,000 square meters within the site of Hyosung Yongyeon plant in Ulsan.Its annual capacity of production will be 13,000 tons of liquid hydrogen, which is enough to fuel 100,000 sedans. Linde's LNG Fuel Gas System for High-speed Ferry

The Linde Group, via its Swedish Engineering subsidiary Cryo AB, has been awarded a contract by Meyer Turku Shipyard of Finland to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel gas system for the next-generation high-speed ferry being built for AS Tallink Grupp. The ferry will operate in the Baltic Sea between Helsinki, Finland and Tallinn, Estonia and has been designed to comply with the European Emission Control Area (ECA) limits thanks to the use of LNG as fuel.

Foster Wheeler Signs Agreement With BOC to Replace Heat Exchangers

Foster Wheeler AG announced today that a subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has signed an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) services agreement with BOC, a member of the Linde Group, for the installation of replacement heat exchangers at BOC’s Teesport facility, Teesside, in northeast England. The Foster Wheeler contract value was not disclosed and was included in the company’s first-quarter 2014 bookings.
