DNV GL Awarded Master Service Agreement with Statoil

DNV GL Oil & Gas has been awarded a master service agreement with Statoil. The contract includes a broad scope of studies on topics such as safety, platform technology, structural reanalysis and pipeline technology, and offers hull and structural inspection services, the competent control of complex lifting equipment and software, maintenance and services for IT delivery. DNV GL Initiatives to Reduce O&G Industry Cost

DNV GL Wins Johan Sverdrup Verification Deal

Johan Sverdrup is by far the largest ongoing project on the Norwegian Continental Shelf for the next few years. Statoil has awarded contracts to DNV GL for verification of all 4 topsides, the 3 bridges, 3 of 4 jackets, topside installation by use of the Allseas single lift vessel ‘Pioneering Spirit and extended site assessment for the jack-up. Third party verification gives the operator and the authorities confidence that the project development has the required safety and quality level.

DNV GL Wins Frame Agreement with Wintershall Norge

DNV GL has been selected by Wintershall Norge AS to provide a frame agreement for global inspection services for its developments offshore Norway. The overall contract is expected to exceed  $1.2 million. The term of the contract is five years, with an option for two, two-year extensions and covers all Wintershall’s projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). It will initially be used for the ongoing Maria development.
