Finland and Estonia Agree on LNG Terminal Plan
Finland and Estonia on Monday reached an agreement to build two liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals, connected by a pipeline across the Gulf of Finland by 2019. A large regional terminal would be built in Finland while Estonia would get a smaller gas distribution terminal, the Finnish government said in a statement.

The Green Party will exit Finland's five-party government if the coalition on Thursday decides to support Fennovoima's Finnish-Russian nuclear project, the party's leader said on Monday. Such move would not bring down the government, led by right-leaning Alexander Stubb, but would reduce the government's majority to four seats.
Finland Rejects TVO's Nuclear Permit Extension
Finland's economy minister on Monday recommended the government reject utility Teollisuuden Voima's (TVO) application for an extension to its licence to build the Olkiluoto 4 nuclear reactor but backed a nuclear project by Fennovoima. TVO in May requested a 5-year extension to its general permit due to delays of its existing project Olkiluoto 3.
