FPSO P-67 Starts Production at Lula

Petrobras Starts production in Santos Basin
Yesterday Petrobras and its partners in the BM-S-9 consortium started producing oil and natural gas on the FPSO Cidade de Caraguatatuba in the Santos Basin’s pre-salt Lapa field. The Cidade de Caraguatatuba is the third unit to come onstream in the pre-salt this year, and the 11th fully operational system lifting pre-salt deposits. Lapa is the third pre-salt field in the Santos Basin to start production, following in the footsteps of the Lula and Sapinhoá fields.
Petrobras Production up in July
Petrobras' average oil and natural gas production rose 1.8% in July compared to the previous month and reached 2.796 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed). The Company produced 2.746 million boed in June. Production is up 3.6% on July 2014 (2.699 million boed). On July 8, Petrobras set a new daily oil production record in the pre-salt layer: 865,000 barrels per day (bpd). This production does not include natural gas extraction.
Petrobras Reports Record Production
Total production of oil and natural gas from Petrobras, in December 2014, in Brazil and abroad, reached the average of 2 million 863 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day, the best result reached in the history of the company, Petrobras reported. This volume is 4.4% higher than in November, which was 2 million 741 thousand boe. The company beat, too, in December, its record oil and liquid natural gas in Brazil, reaching a monthly average of 2 million 212 thousand barrels of oil per day (bpd).
Petrobras Sets Record in Brazil
Consolidated Oil and Gas Petrobras in Brazil and abroad, production amounted to 2 million 795 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe) in October. This volume was 0.5% higher than in September, which was 2 million 781 thousand boe. Oil production in Brazil grew by 0.4% compared to September, and reaches a new high. Oil production from Petrobras in Brazil reached in October average of 2 million 126 thousand barrels / day (bpd), 0.4% higher than what occurred in September, 2 million 118 thousand bpd.
