NYK Signs Multi-Year Deal with GAIL (India) Limited for Charter of LNG Carrier
NYK signed a multi-year time-charter contract with GAIL (India) Limited, India's largest natural gas company, for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier. Grace Emilia, the vessel that will be chartered, is equipped with a WinGD-made dual-fuel slow-speed X-DF diesel engine, a unit that has superior fuel-consumption efficiency and can operate on marine gas oil or boil off gas stored in the cargo tank.
MISC, NYK and Mitsubishi Partner for the LNG Canada Project
MISC Berhad (MISC) through its subsidiary have signed an agreement with Mitsubishi Corporation and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) to co-own two newbuild LNG vessels mainly for the LNG Canada project.Both LNG carriers have a capacity of 174,000 cubic meters (cbm) and are currently being built by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI).

GTT Bags Order for Three LNG Carriers, One Bunkering Vessel
GTT announces it has received several orders, since the beginning of the year, for the equipment of three LNG Carriers (LNGCs) and one bunkering vessel. Bahri Signs $350 mln Islamic Finance Deal for Oil Tankers
National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri), the exclusive oil-shipper for Saudi Aramco, said on Wednesday it had signed a $350 million Islamic 10-year financing deal to pay for the building of five oil tankers. The 10-year murahaba financing was arranged by Standard Chartered, which also contributed to the deal along with Arab National Bank and National Bank of Abu Dhabi, it said.

Dorian LPG Ltd. reported today that it took delivery of the ECO VLGC Caravelle from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries. The Caravelle is Dorian LPG's 19th and final scheduled newbuilding delivery.
