Shell Opens Lubricants Plant in Singapore

Shell said it has opened an integrated lubricants and grease production facility in Tuas, Singapore, its third largest lubricants plant in the world and second largest in Asia-Pacific, capable of producing up to 430 million liters of lubricants and greases every year - enough to change the engine oil of over 12,000 cars, every hour, every day.

Shell Indonesia Ramps up Lubricant Production

Just over one year from the start of its operations, Shell’s newest lubricant oil blending plant (LOBP), located in Marunda Centre, near Jakarta, Indonesia, has more than doubled its production slate and is now producing 99 different products. This includes its latest additions, Shell marine engine oils Shell Argina, Shell Gadinia, and Shell Melina.

Tidewater Subsea has reached a deal with Bordelon Marine to charter the newly built Jones Act compliant MV Brandon Bordelon for 60 days, plus options. The vessel is intended to be available to work in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, Mexico and Trinidad, Bordelon Marine said.
